NEW DELHI: As India continues its warfare against coronavirus, cricketer Rohit Sharma asked of us to hang dwelling because the “World Cup remains to be some time away”.

Taking to Twitter, Sharma wrote, “Stop indoors India, draw now now not exit on the streets celebrating. World Cup remains to be some time away.”

The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 is scheduled to be performed between October 18 to November 15 at seven venues in some unspecified time in the future of Australia.


Despite the proven truth that the coronavirus pandemic is wreaking havoc all in some unspecified time in the future of the globe, the International Cricket Council (ICC) on March 17 acknowledged the upcoming T20 World Cup 2020 will “lope forward as scheduled”.


“In step with the continuing coronavirus disaster, the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Native Organising Committee is monitoring the scenario closely with associated authorities and can soundless proceed to dwell so,” ICC had acknowledged in an announcement.


“The ICC Males’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to remove teach from 18 October – 15 November 2020 in seven venues in some unspecified time in the future of Australia. We’re planning for the event to lope forward as scheduled,” the observation had added.
