NEW DELHI: India’s chief National badminton coach Pullela Gopichand is the most stylish among India’s sports actions icons to make contributions to India’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The faded All England champion donated a total of Rs 26 lakh from his gain savings for the diagram off.

Gopichand, who has been conferred with the Arjuna award, Dronacharya award and the Padma Bhushan, has already transferred Rs 11 lakh to the PM-CARES fund, Rs 10 lakh to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Fund and Rs 5 lakh to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Fund.
“Our country is so numerous and despite the full challenges, the Central and Bellow Governments are doing a broad job. Let us all wait on them by doing our bit, critically by following instructions and staying at home,” Gopichand told.
He stated that the fight against the pandemic will walk away the economy broken, which makes it extra predominant for everyone to attain forward and wait on.

Earlier, cricketer Suresh Raina had donated Rs 31 lakhs to PM-CARES Fund and Rs 21 lakhs to UP CM’s Disaster Relief Fund to wait on the fight against COVID-19.
The BCCI fulfilled their pledge of donating Rs 51 crores to the PM-CARES Fund.
Sachin Tendulkar has contributed Rs 25 lakh every to the Top Minister’s Relief Fund and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra’s Relief Fund.
