Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE before the end of 2023. However, the smartphone may arrive later in some markets in Q1 2024. Recently, the South Korea-based tech giant accidentally listed the Galaxy S23 FE on the Spanish Samsung Pay portal. The listing not only revealed the name of the smartphone but also confirmed its compatibility with the company’s mobile payment platform. Now, a new report has leaked a promotional image of the upcoming smartphone. The image showcases the overall design and the four colour options of the next Fan Edition smartphone. The report also claims that Samsung may offer the Galaxy S23 FE in a new purple colour which was available in the older Galaxi S9 series.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: What to expect
According to a report by MSPowerUser, the upcoming smartphone is expected to have a design similar to this year’s Samsung Galaxy S23. The FE variant is likely to sport flat panels and individual camera cutouts. The leaked image also shows that Samsung may offer the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in four different colours — violet/purple, graphite, white, and lime/mint green. The company has yet to announce the official names of these colours.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is also said to have a glossy finish and metallic rings around the three rear-facing cameras that will also match the colour of the back panel. The report doesn’t clearly mention the expected pricing of the upcoming smartphone. However, the report mentioned that the Galaxy S23 FE will be priced more than the Galaxy A54 and less than the base Galaxy S23 model. The Fan Edition devices will be the cheaper alternative to the flagship Galaxy S23 smartphone.
