Poco has expanded its product portfolio in the global markets with the launch of a new C-series entry-level smartphone. The company posted a video on its official Poco Global YouTube channel to launch the phone. In this video, Poco has also detailed the key specs and availability of the smartphone. The latest Poco C65 smartphone sports an HD+ screen and comes powered by a MediaTek chipset. This phone also houses a 50MP main camera and packs a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone is currently available in the US. however, the company hasn’t revealed if this phone will make its way to India.
Poco C65: Price and availability (global variant)
The Poco C65 is available in three different colour options which are — Black, Blue and Purple colours. The 6GB + 128GB model is originally priced at $129 (nearly Rs 10,700) while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs $149 (nearly Rs 12,400). The company is now offering the smartphone at an early bird pricing of $109 (nearly Rs 9,000) and $129 (nearly Rs 10,700), respectively.
Poco C65: Key specs (global variant)
The latest entry-level smartphone features a 6.74-inch HD+ display that supports 20:9 aspect ratio display, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone comes powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor which is backed by up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Poco will also allow users to expand the storage on the smartphone up to 1TB with a microSD card.
For photography, the Poco C65 houses a dual rear camera setup which includes — a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro unit. The smartphone also features an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The dual SIM smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W charging and runs Android 13 with MIUI 14 for Poco. The latest phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. For connectivity, it supports 4G, dual Wi-Fi standards, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB Type-C port.
